Jon Wegman is the VP of Planning and Strategy at Performics. His role is both broad (across a variety of clients) and integrated (within each department). Jon and his team serve as the strategic planning and engagement resource. He is a die-hard believer in “participant-based” marketing and works to accelerate customer behavior, action and measurement through our performance driven approach.
Prior to joining Performics, Jon was the lead Digital Strategist at Moxie Interactive, a full-service digital agency, servicing clients in the wireless space, soft drinks, cosmetics, transportation and many others.
Jon has an extensive background in digital advertising, media and technology platforms, consumer insights and social - local - mobile best practices. His focus includes the definition and development of creative messaging strategies.
Jon began his career at J. Walter Thompson where he created the communications-planning discipline for accounts such as The United States Marine Corps, Orkin, FEMA, and Norfolk-Southern.
How Jon participates in life
“Because I spend most days in front of a computer screen, I love to escape by working with my hands. I have restored three classic cars, from engine to upholstery to paint, as well as boats, motorcycles and DYI projects around the house.”
Jon lived for awhile in South Korea and has traveled to France, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
