Karishma is responsible for Worldwide Client Services, Product Management, Marketing, Business Planning and Development at Performics. She has spent over 14 years in product management and is a seasoned marketing professional. Karishma has established her cred as a strategic thinker and industry thought leader; she has extensive experience in building innovative solutions and business models across a variety of industry verticals. Karishma’s passions include Digital Advertising and Media, Social Media (probably a borderline addict), emerging market opportunities, and catalyzing socio-economic development for BOP (base of the pyramid) consumers.
Previously, Karishma was a Director at Microsoft Corporation where she carried out marketing, product management strategies and business development for a number of products and emerging market incubations. She has received several prestigious awards from Microsoft's senior management, including Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. Karishma also has experience incubating and designing marketing solutions for the E-Commerce space. She co-authored the book "Connecting to Customers: Strategies and Solutions for Growing your Business Online". Karishma holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
