Performics and Doubleclick take leading role in new Yahoo! Search Marketing Platform Rollout

Chicago, Performics, the country's largest Search Engine Marketing firm (Source: JupiterResearch 2006 Search Engine Marketing Agency Constellation) and the performance marketing division of DoubleClick, today announced the successful technical integration of its search advertising system with Yahoo!’s new search marketing platform.  Performics and DoubleClick, both longtime leaders in online advertising, worked closely together during the redesign of Yahoo!’s search marketing platform to help ensure that the interface and functionality reflected the input of DoubleClick’s application expertise and Performics’ advertisers.

Yahoo!’s new platform, known by its code name, “Project Panama,” includes advanced features that enable advertisers to connect with consumers more effectively.  DoubleClick's DART Search application which powers the full-service Performics search offering and is also offered as a self-service solution, was upgraded to provide new features including ad testing, geo-targeting, and enhanced bid management and forecasting. In fact, DoubleClick was the first outside company to book a keyword in the redesigned system.  DoubleClick leveraged Performics' long-standing relationship with Yahoo! to gain early access to Yahoo!'s test environment and provide feedback, to the benefit of both platforms.
