I am thrilled to announce two important updates in our global performance marketing network: (1) Our global footprint is expanding in the APAC region with our recent launch in Indonesia and (2) the newly acquired Czech and Slovak performance agency B2B Group is aligning with Performics to strengthen our performance marketing offerings in the EMEA region.
Our Indonesia launch marks the 9th market where Performics is active in APAC and brings us up to over 300 employees in the region. Parjono Sudiono will lead the team in Indonesia, working with the Head of PFX in APAC, Gareth Mulryan. Indonesia is the fourth largest country in the world (after China, India and the US) and offers expansive opportunities to connect with an emerging digital class that will grow to 40% of the population by 2016.
The acquisition of B2B Group in Czech and Slovakia will bolster our footprint and performance expertise in EMEA. Much like Performics, B2B has grown its business by applying principles of search performance and management across channels, screens and content types. We use the phrase “relentless pursuit of results” and B2B holds a very similar manifesto. We are excited to have its staff of 30+ performance specialists based in Prague and Bratislava help power our presence and capability in the region.
