Global Client Solutions Officer
Having graduated in marketing from Bournemouth University (UK), Sam’s keen interest in digital marketing initially manifested itself in building websites, running affiliate marketing campaigns and working for a London based travel start-up. In 2008, at the inception of Performics global roll-out, Sam joined the EMEA business in London. Sam has gone on to hold many different roles in the Performics business over the past 10 years but one thing has never changed, his focus on delivering results for clients.
Working in the EMEA team based out of London, he worked across HP, HTC, Hertz and Lexus and was involved in one of Adobe’s first ‘OneSearch’ implementations across Searchmetrics and Omniture SearchCenter. A digital first that delivered significant growth for Chevrolet.
A desire for experiencing new things and setting new challenges took Sam to China where he managed Performics offices in Beijing, Wuhan and Shanghai. Particular highlights included growing the team, accelerating performance digital for L’Oreal and spearheading the creation of what is now a market leading e-commerce practice. Sam stayed in China for three years overseeing significant year on year growth and capability improvements culminating in industry recognition for his efforts in 2014 being named Campaign Asia’s Young Achiever Of The Year.
Energized by the experience of working in a different market, Sam then moved to the US, taking on a global role leading the agency’s client solutions capability across the network and leading some of Performics largest multi-market engagements. As of 2018, Sam continues working for Performics global clients from his hometown in London, UK.
When Sam isn’t travelling for work or pleasure, he can be found either on a sports field/terrace or on long country walks with his wife Michelle and dog Bella. Passionate about great food, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends Sam prioritises switching off the from the digital world when away from work.
