Performics’ SEO campaign for MichaelStars.com in an OMMA Awards finalist in the Search Marketing: SEO Campaign category.  Voting is now open for The Members’ Choice Award. Performics was able to significantly boost SEO traffic from non-brand keywords for Michael Stars.  The ability to optimize generic keywords, improve link structure and craft title tags and meta-descriptions raised Michael Stars’ non-brand natural search traffic 179 percent and non-brand natural search revenue 67 percent.  OMMA noted that this deserves more than a pat on the back, especially considering the competition around women’s t-shirt terms. “Women’s t-shirts” ranked No. 9 in June 2010 on Google, up from 48 in July 2009; “V-neck t shirts” rose to 8 from 100; “Women’s short sleeve tee shirts” rose to 2 from 100; and “Women’s three-quarter sleeve tee shirts” rose to 1 from 100, respectively. Vote for Performics and Michael Stars by September 27th!
