Performics’ Director of Natural Search, Eric Papczun, takes a look at the new Google Audio Indexing (GAudi) tool in his latest Search Engine Land byline. GAudi allows users to find videos that contain their search term and then navigate to the place in the video that the term is spoken. GAudi currently works for YouTube political channels. Depending on how this technology progresses, SEOs should keep GAudi in mind when thinking about optimizing and distributing video content.
