Andres Azpilicueta

Andres holds 16 years of experience in digital business, pioneering some digital disciplines in Spain, Europe and Mexico. In 1999, he launched one of the first affiliation networks in Spain: dooyoo. In 2003, he launched Overture (Yahoo Search Marketing) in Spain building a SEM network. In 2005, he launched yahoo´s API program in Europe with 500 mm USD of investment managed programmatically in 3 years. In 2007, he launched Right Media, the first Real Time Bidding Ad Exchange in Europe. In 2008, he launched Vivaki´s Audience On Demand, the first agency Trading Desk in Spain. Andres has worked for various finance clients, from insurance companies (Linea Directa Aseguradora, Mutua Madrileña, Bupa) to product comparison engines (uswitch, moneysupermarket, asesorseguros) and banks (Santander, Bankinter: Worlds Largest Cross Selling bank with 5+ products per client*).

Andres has spent the last eight years in Publicis Groupe, starting as an Operations Director for Performics in Spain. Andres earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business, along with the Stanford Executive Program.

Andres has lived in 4 different countries and has conducted business in almost 20 different markets. He teaches digital business in several schools and loves helping Startup Entrepreneurs through advising. He loves cooking and holds a diploma from Luis Irizar cooking school, his most appreciated diploma.
