Marcela Picos Pérez

Marcela joined Performics in 2016 as Head of Performics Mexico. Her current goals are to lead the Mexico team through digital specialization and revenue growth and encourage the use of new technologies that help Performics to become Mexico’s best digital agency.
During college, she dedicated eight months of her time at Psyma Latina, a market research agency focused in the pharmaceutical industry. Soon after, she became a Project Leader and was responsible for accounts like Bayer and Abbot.
At 19, she completed her major in Business Administration at the Universidad de Las Américas. She then attended Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) in San Antonio, Texas as an international student, specializing in Marketing and Media. When she returned to Mexico City, she worked on market intelligence and economic feasibility studies in different Latin American cities for developing new hotels for the chain, Grupo Posadas. At 20, she began her digital career, where she has continued to thrive and work enthusiastically in agencies such as Flock, VML México and MEC.
During that time, she developed innovative projects and campaigns with historical results for brands like Suavitel, Lady Speed Stick, Luminous & Men Speed Stick ADN, PayPal, Aeromexico, Chanel, DHL, Henkel, AT&T and Sony.
Marcela has two shih tzus named Penny and Leonidas. She enjoys going to the movies, spending time with her husband and reading history and light novels. One of her all-time favorite books is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
